Happy Holidays!

Christmas is such a fun and exciting time for your kids! Here are some fun recipes that you can help them make to get in that seasonal mood!

1 cup rolled oats (uncooked)
2 to 6 tablespoons red-coloured sugar
2 to 6 tablespoons green-coloured sugar

Steps to Make It:

1. Gather the ingredients.

2. In a medium bowl, mix together the rolled oats, red-coloured sugar, and green-coloured sugar until well incorporated.

3. Transfer sugared oats to zip-topped plastic bags, adding more coloured sugar for a festive effect.

4. Tie with a ribbon and attach the following poem: Sprinkle this reindeer food outside tonight. The moonlight will make it sparkle bright. As the reindeer fly and roam. This will guide them to your home.

5. On Christmas Eve, hand each child a package of reindeer dust and let them untie the ribbon and sprinkle it on the lawn while reciting the poem. Then, all they have to do is wait!

5. Spoon out approximately ½ of the tub of icing into a bowl. Add green food colouring until you're happy with the colour. Spoon the green icing into a zip lock bag. Seal the bag and cut off a small corner of the bag with sharp scissors.
