Sing With Mizzie Nursery Rhymes Review by What's Good To Do - August 2021

Sing with Mizzie

**Below Article  Is Reposted by What's Good To Do & Was Not Written By The Mizzie Team**

Not hearing about this book before, I wanted to do some research.  I found out that Mizzie The Kangaroo is Home of Australia’s Original Natural Teething Toy and Educational Toys.

Mizzie The Kangaroo was created and developed to help little ones develop in a fun way!  Voted Gold for best teething Toy in the UK’s What’s Good To Do Awards which are amazing to review for I must add (editor’s note – this is the reviewer’s opinion), Mizzie is also named as a United Kingdom for the same in teething by Lux Life Magazine Parent and Baby Awards.  Mizzie was also referred to by the Daily mail, Made For Mums and The Independent as a top Christmas pick for 2020.

Mizzie is now available to purchase, not just in the U.K but Europe too as well as the UK based warehouses and Amazon.

I was excited to learn that I was going to be reviewing this book as I have an 18 month old great nephew and was really eager to read the book and sing a long to it with him.

First thing I noticed was the bright, bold and strong colours.  The animations of the characters and animals and phenomenal!  Their big, bold and adorable eyes look something like out of a Disney book.

It is a very strong robust and sturdy book too with a slightly flexible bend to each page.

Sing with Mizzie Sound Book

There are 6 nursery rhymes in total and each of them are represented with animals and characters that represent each of them.  With beautiful sceneries throughout the book, it makes each nursery rhyme a magical experience.  Each of the songs are as follows:

1. Baa Baa Black Sheep

2. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

3. Row Row Row Your Boat

4. Old Macdonald Had A Farm

5. Rock a bye baby

6. Mary had a little lamb

Now for the magical part; the singing along to each of above rhymes.

On the back of the book is where the battery is located and securely screwed in with a cap cover.  Below it, is the ON/OFF button.  Now, the magical part of the singing only starts when you press your finger on each of the circle with look likes a silver mesh metal, safely covered by what looks and feels like plastic.  As soon as you press this, the beautiful sounds of children’s voice make the nursery rhyme and book come to life.  It truly is magical and sounds like you are in a classroom full of children singing like angels.

Sound book

The book says it is suitable for 12months + but I would personally use it sooner, after all, you can always teach them beautiful sounds and show the colours which are both great for development, interaction and most importantly, connection with them and the person singing and playing it to them.

Batteries.  The book requires 3 non-rechargeable button batteries.  1.5 AG 13 / LR44, which the book comes with.  As small screwdriver is required to un-screw the compartment the batteries are housed in.

Conforms to the safety requirements of EN71, ASTM F963, AS/NZS ISO8124.

Would I recommend this book?  Absolutely!  It is worth every penny and so much fun to not sing yourself but watch their eyes light up when you press the put-on and the children start singing, to say it is magical is an understatement.

Rating: It is an awesome 5 out of 5 from me.

RRP: £12.00
